Moulded asbestos cement roofing accessories include ridge capping, ventilating ridge, skylights and manholes, roof ventilators, flashing, barge moulding, downpipes, guttering.

Sealants used like caulking – to prevent the transmission of dust, sound and heat – may contain asbestos.

Standard surface compressed asbestos cement (AC) sheets are smooth on both sides, or smooth on one side with a patterned surface on the other side. They may be painted. Their main use was balustrades and windowsills.
